Ventilation -Airconditioning Technology

History
Ventilation -Airconditioning Technology Program started education in 1994-1995 by taking its first students.

Aim
The purpose of the Ventilation -Airconditioning Technology Program is; is to train intermediate manpower to work in the field of establishment, manufacture and operation of heating, cooling and ventilation systems.

Academic Staff
There are 3 lecturers in the program.

Graduation Requirements
In order for a student to graduate from the Ventilation -Airconditioning Technology Program, they must take 120 ECTS courses in total, have a GPA of at least 2.00, and have completed a compulsory Vocational Internship for a total of 40 working days.

Internship
Students can complete their internship for 40 working days in practice in private companies that manufacture refrigerators, ventilation systems and central air handling units, as well as in project-based private companies, and in authorized technical services of refrigerators and air conditioners.

Graduate Employment
Those who complete the Ventilation -Airconditioning Technology Program are given the title of "Air Conditioning-Cooling Technician". The air conditioning-refrigeration technician carries out the works planned for the construction, installation and operation of the heating, cooling and ventilation systems of the buildings under the supervision and management of the mechanical engineer; assembles engines, lays pipes, maintains and repairs the system. They can work in factories or workshops belonging to public or private institutions, cold storages or open private services.

Housing
There are many dormitories and rental flats in both Ula and Muğla for the accommodation needs of our students.

Socio-cultural Areas
Our school's cafeteria, canteen, basketball court, volleyball court and carpet field are at the service of our students. In addition, there is an indoor sports hall, swimming pool, football field and tennis courts open to all students on the campus of our university.
