Public Relations and Publicity

History
The Department of Marketing and Advertising, Public Relations and Publicity Program started to admit students with an additional quota in the 2012-2013 academic year.

Aim
Public Relations and Publicity Program is a four-semester higher education program based on the contemporary employment paradigm  that aims to train qualified intermediate manpower who can confidently display their skills combined with knowledge in the relevant departments of institutions such as municipalities, associations, chambers, and bar associations.

Academic Staff
There are three lecturers in the Public Relations and Publicity Program.

Graduation Requirements
In order for a student to graduate from the Public Relations and Publicity Program, a total of 120 ECTS courses must be taken, a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.00, and a compulsory summer internship of 30 working days in total must be completed.

Internship
Students can do their internships in the relevant departments of private sector and public sector enterprises, public and private sector administrations; In the relevant departments of institutions such as municipalities, associations, chambers, bar associations, in publications such as newspapers, magazines, radio, TV, Public Relations Companies, Advertising Companies, Marketing Companies, etc. 

Graduate Employment
Our students who graduate from the Public Relations and Publicity Program gain the title of Public Relations and Publicity Staff. In the relevant departments of private sector and public sector enterprises, public and private sector administrations; they are employed in the relevant departments of institutions such as municipalities, hospitals, associations, chambers, bar associations. Moreover; they can also be employed in media organs such as newspapers, magazines, radio, TV, and in public opinion research institutions.

Housing
There are many dormitories and rental flats in Ula or Muğla for the accommodation needs of our students.

Socio-cultural Areas
Our school is at the service of cafeteria, canteen, basketball court, volleyball court and carpet field. In addition, there is an indoor sports hall, swimming pool, football field and tennis courts, which the entire office is open to use during the flight of our university.
