Banking and Insurance

History
Finance-Banking and Insurance Department admitted students with an additional quota in the 2011-2012 academic year and gave its first graduates at the end of the 2014-2015 academic year.
Aim
The main goal of the program is; financial, banking and insurance transactions, regulation and execution. For this reason, they have the knowledge and skills required by the program; aims to train individuals with the competencies needed by insurance, finance and money markets.

Academic Staff
1 associate professor, 2 teaching assistant doctors and 3 lecturers work in the academic staff of our department.

Graduation Requirements
In order to graduate from the Banking and Insurance Program, a student must take 120 ECTS courses in total, have a GPA of at least 2.00, and complete a compulsory summer internship for a total of 30 working days.

Internship
Our students can do internships in banks or insurance companies.

Graduate Employment
Banking and Insurance Program graduates who successfully complete this program;
> They can work in all kinds of financial institutions, especially banks, in the headquarters and agencies of insurance companies, or they can open their own insurance agencies if they wish.
> They can be employed in the central departments and branches of banks.
> They can work in “freelance” and “bank branch” agencies, which are the distribution channels of insurance companies.
> They can advise potential bank customers and policyholders on core products and services.

Housing
There are many dormitories and rental flats in Ula or Muğla for the accommodation needs of our students.

Socio-cultural Areas
Our school is at the service of cafeteria, canteen, basketball court, volleyball court and carpet field. In addition, there is an indoor sports hall, swimming pool, football field and tennis courts, which the entire office is open to use during the flight of our university.
